2026 76th Annual MCA Conference - "The Power of Us Call for Programs

Leona Biship is honored to serve as the 2026-2027 President of the Mississippi Counseling Association. With a deep passion for the field, she is eager to inspire counselors to rekindle their love for counseling. She believes that by reconnecting with the core values that led us to this profession, we can continue making a meaningful impact in the lives of those we serve.

Therefore, the Mississippi Counseling Association (MCA) is excited to invite members to submit proposals for our 76th Annual Conference. We encourage proposals that align with our conference theme and focus, offering innovative approaches, research-based strategies, and personal insights that will support counselors in their work with students, clients, and our community.  Only completed applications will be considered.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Proposals should relate to the theme: "The Powe of Us Counseling"
  • Topics should emphasize best practices, counselor well-being, and strategies to enhance the counseling profession.
  • Presentations can be in the form of workshops, panel discussions, or experiential sessions.
Important Dates:
  • Proposal Submission Deadline: June 22, 2026
  • Acceptance Status Notification: July 2026
How to Submit: Why Submit a Proposal?
