 The Gulf Coast Counseling Association will conduct a Fall 2026 Professional Development Workshop on September 25, 2026, from 8:30-3:30. The workshop will address anxiety, drug use, suicide prevention, ethics and wellness. The workshop will be held at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 2300 US-90, Gautier, MS 39553 The cost of the workshop will be: MCA Members $25 Non-Members $175 Participants will have the opportunity to earn 5 contact hours and 0.5 CEUs.

“Mind, Body, and Heart: Tools for the Journey - Building a Compassionate Counseling Toolbox Through Grief, Play, and Yoga"

This engaging professional development opportunity invites counseling professionals to explore whole-person approaches to healing and discover practical tools they can bring into their clinical work. 

Together, we’ll explore:

Grief- compassionate tools for navigating loss and life transitions through the ages

Yoga- mind-body practices that support regulation, resilience, and well-being

Play- creativity, connection, and therapeutic possibility in mental health and school settings

Come learn, connect, and leave with new ideas and applicable tools for your counseling toolbox. We hope you'll join us for a day of growth and renewal!
